On December 03, 2021 within the execution of the EU Erasmus+ Project (Jean Monnet Module) “An interdisciplinary approach to waste management study: implementing the EU practices” (621029-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE) at the Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University a study visit to waste processing plant has been held with more than 40 participants involved.
The project’s team members Prof. Tetiana Vitenko, Prof. Nataliia Marynenko, Prof. Iryna Kramar got the participants acquintated with the principles of sustainable development in the context of clean (low-waste) production and focused attention on how to solve problems regarding these issues in practice.
The study visit participants gained knowledge in administration of production based on the principles of sustainable development, clean (low-waste) production in particular and in the use of environmentally viable principles of waste management at the enterprise. Students were enabled to demonstrate their creativity, ingenuity and teamwork.
