An interdisciplinary approach to waste management study: implementing the EU practices

The working group from TNTU took part in the webinar “Day of the winners of the EU program Erasmus+ direction of Jean Monet: how to successfully implement the project”

On December 3, 2020, the National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine, as part of a series of webinars for project executors of the EU Erasmus+ Program, held an online event “Day of the EU Erasmus+ Jean Monnet program winners: how to successfully implement the project.” The event was organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and with the support of the Representation of the European Union in Ukraine.

The webinar was attended by the members of Jean Monnet project working group from TNTU (title of the project: “An interdisciplinary approach to waste management study: implementing the EU practices” (621029-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE): vice-rector for international cooperation of TNTU, Prof. Tetiana Vitenko, Prof. Nataliia Marynenko, Prof. Iryna Kramar, specialist of the international cooperation office Viktoriya Zubkova.

Martin Schroeder, head of the local development and human capital section of the EU Representation in Ukraine, and Rimma El Juwaydi Abulsan, director general of the Directorate of Strategic Planning and European Integration of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, joined the welcoming speech. The moderator of the event was Svitlana Shytikova, coordinator of the EU project “National Erasmus+ office in Ukraine”.

The purpose of the event was to acquaint the representatives of the Jean Monnet projects winning teams with the recommendations for managing funds (management, implementation, visualization rules, reporting), as well as to learn about the national peculiarities of project implementation based on the experience of Ukrainian universities that are already implementing projects. During the online event, participants had an opportunity to chat with speakers, exchange experiences and get answers to their questions.

More than 75 representatives of Jean Monnet 2020 winning projects, coordinators of current projects, Erasmus+ contact persons, representatives of international relations offices, accountants and financial managers joined the live webinar, and more than 100 listeners watched the video broadcast.
