An interdisciplinary approach to waste management study: implementing the EU practices

Training course “Environmentally-related business planning, financing and promoting: creating a basis for safe, prosperous and successful future”

Within the execution of the EU Erasmus+ Jean Monnet Module Project “An interdisciplinary approach to waste management study: implementing the EU practices” (621029-EPP-1-2020-1-UA-EPPJMO-MODULE) at the Ternopil Ivan Puluj National Technical University a training course “Environmentally-related business planning, financing and promoting: creating a basis for safe, prosperous and successful future” and the contest “Creative solutions to addressing global environmental challenges” were held on April 25-27, 2023 and on June 08, 2023 accordingly.

The project’s team members Prof. Nataliia Marynenko, Prof. Iryna Kramar, Prof. Tetiana Vitenko have managed to successfully achieve the expected impact of the training course activities on the target group. The purpose of the training was to provide the target audience with throughout understanding on the necessity and advantages of starting-up a business focused on environmentally-related issues by giving successful examples of EU countries businesses; how to write and present a business plan; how to develop and promote products/services/ideas. During the contest presentations of the group project ideas and business plans developed after the trainings with substantiation of the proposed projects feasibility took place.
